Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of clients in a family office setting, serving both commercial companies and Soparfis
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, encompassing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Supervise the preparation of tax returns, providing tax planning advice to clients, and ensuring strict compliance with all tax laws and regulations
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted financial advisor to fulfill their unique needs
- Direct and guide junior staff members, offering mentorship and support as necessary
- Monitor and implement best practices in accounting and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to GAAP and other accounting standards
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Preferred certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, preferably within a family office or fiduciary environment
- Profound knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the development and maintenance of strong client relationships
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring junior staff members
- Exceptional attention to detail, enabling work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Fluency in both German and English is mandatory, and additional language skills will be considered an asset
