Assistant Manager – In-House



Our client is a fast-growing European private equity firm

They have been in Luxembourg for several years with offices located in the city centre, they wish to increase their workforce, with a profile having a first good experience in the field of investment funds, Nav, etc...

They are offering a position and a structure on a human scale and tailor-made, the position allows you to evolve on a position with controlling, oversight, reporting and supervision. 

You will no longer be in charge of production (x No more bookkeeping x) 

You will be the point person for the supervision of the accounting and finance department, reporting directly to one of the two directors of the company. 

On the personal side, you will be able to manage your own schedule at your own convenience, no need to come into the office every day! 

We are looking for a profile with an excellent level of English, several years of experience in Luxembourg and the ability to work independently.

Assistant Manager - Tasks:

  • Supervise the production of accounting deliverables for a diverse portfolio of funds (Soparfi, SIF, SICAR, SCSp and RAIF maintained under LUX GAAP) 

  • FUP the funds books and preparing the periodic funds valuations (Net Asset Value), year-end financial statements, CSSF/BCL reporting, and any other funds related reports

  • Preparation of reports showing yields, net asset values, and distributions

  • Liaising with internal and external departments, Trustees/Depositaries, Custodians, Auditors, key clients and attending meetings when required

  • Communicating effectively both orally & in written form with internal departments and external bodies

  • Recording and reviewing accurately, and in accordance with the Department policies and procedures, such accounting records as securities positions, corporate actions related, and journal entries from both doer and reviewer standpoint

  • Contributing to all tasks relating to the lifecycle of funds

Assistant Manager - Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit

  • Fluent in English and French

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Investment Funds, NAV

  • Be a good team player
