Our client is a leading service provider with a team of 30 professionals based in Luxembourg. Their mission is to provide innovative and reliable solutions to their clients in the financial services industry, including banks, asset managers, and other regulated entities. Theystrive to maintain the highest standards of compliance, integrity, and professionalism in all our operations.

They are seeking an experienced AML/KYC Officer to join Their team in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with AML and KYC regulations, and will be responsible for conducting due diligence on their clients, monitoring transactions, and reporting any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting due diligence on clients and counterparties in accordance with AML/KYC regulations and internal policies
  • Identifying and assessing potential money laundering and terrorist financing risks associated with clients and transactions
  • Monitoring transactions and identifying suspicious activity
  • Investigating and reporting suspicious transactions to the relevant authorities
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all AML/KYC-related activities
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations
  • Keeping up-to-date with changes in AML/KYC regulations and guidelines, and implementing any necessary changes to internal policies and procedures

Your profile:

  • Up to 3 years of experience in AML/KYC compliance within the financial services industry
  • A solid understanding of AML/KYC regulations and guidelines
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and assess potential money laundering and terrorist financing risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fluency in English and French; German would be an advantage
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as ACAMS, would be an advantage
